Linen Lecture with Irina Lawrence 

Come and learn all about a wonderful fiber, linen, and the properties it holds. In this one hour lecture, Irina will give a brief history on linen fiber, and then go over how to effectively swatch using Sparrow. 

Note: Students will need to bring US 4-6 straight or circular needles for the class. Included in the price of the class is one skein of Sparrow in whichever color the student pleases. Please arrive 15-30 minutes ahead of time so that the yarn can be wound for you.

Continental Knitting with Jeri Robinson-Lawrence

Have you always wanted to learn how to "pick" your stitches? In this one-hour lecture series, Jeri will go over how continental knitting can be advantageous for any knitters, and will go over how to work the basic knit and purl stitches.

Meet the Shepherd with Jeri Robinson-Lawrence

Learn all about life on the farm in this one hour lecture. Jeri has been raising sheep for almost a decade, and she specializes in rare breed British longwool sheep. She will talk her about her journey from wool lover to wool raiser, and how no matter what it's possible to raise your own sheep (even if you don't own a farm!).

Traditional Faire Isle with Irina Lawrence

Jeri and Irina have fallen in love with faire isle knitting after taking a class with the present-day faire isle master, Mary Jane Mucklestone. In this one hour lecture, Irina will go over the traditions of Faire Isle knitting, color dominance, and how to properly knit in the traditional faire isle manner.
* Students must bring 3 contrasting colors of fingering weight yarn, and US 3 DPNs, or short circulars.
